ASTEROID OVER MELBOURNE

My girlfriend called me yesterday morning and told me there was some comet-like thing headed towards the ground far east of Melbourne. She managed to get an excellent photo of it...

it lasted in the sky for around 10 minutes before heading below the horizon at around 7.22am Melbourne time.

We think it was asteroid 2012KW.
